Bad News
Well, I had a shitty end to the weekend. On a rainy night, a truck went through a red light in an attempt to let an emergency vehicle past him, and ended up creating an accident. It looks like my car is totaled. Not only am I super anxious about how he and insurance company are going to handle this, I can’t sleep and am starting to get really sore.
I know a lot of visitors here are young. I would like to ask you all, if you don’t already, to always buckle up and take it easy on the roads. Many people don’t drive like me (defensive, don’t speed, etc.) and I still couldn’t avoid this accident. My seat belt held me in tight. Seat belts save lives. Anyone want to guess what was playing on my stereo as I unfastened my seatbelt and assessed my physical damage?
I have a big, anxiety filled day tomorrow. I likely won’t be making any updates tomorrow. If I do, they will likely be in the form of just links to good music I wasn’t able to post last week. Rest assured, I’ll be back with plenty fresh updates very, very soon. For now, I just need to figure all this out.
This is one of those times I wish I was rich and didn’t have to sweat out a claim from an insurance company. Hell, it could be worse though. At least I walked away from this. Watching an air bag deploy, in what feels like slow motion, is some freaky shit.
